Salted Caramel Cake

This recipe follows my Mix & Bake -technique so you don’t need to do anything else except mix all the ingredients in a bowl and bake the cake! The delicious salted caramel flavour is amazingly easy to create with condenced caramel and sea salt flakes. Always make sure not to bake bundt cakes for too long so they stay moist and delicious. I hope you’ll love this simple recipe and this stunning cake pan as much as I do!

Salted Caramel Cake

  • Yield: 12 pieces 1x
  • Method: Mix & Bake

  • 6 dl all-purpose flour (2 ½ cups)
  • 4 dl granulated sugar (1 ½ cup + 3 tbsp)
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 300 g butter (10.5 oz)
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 dl milk (¾ cup + 1 tbsp)

  • 1 dl condensed caramel (¼ cup + 3 tbsp)
  • Sea salt flakes

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees celsius (347 °F). Butter and flour a 2,5 litre size bundt cake pan with all-purpose flour. Mix all the dry ingredients. Melt the butter and add the eggs and milk. Add the dry ingredients through a sieve. Pour the mix into the tin. Bake on the lowest level of the oven for about 1 hour until only a couple of crumbs stick to a test stick. Don’t bake too long.

Decorate the cake with condensed caramel and some sea salt.
