Nutella Heart Pies

These mini Nutella Heart Pies are perfect for the Valentine’s Day! Just make a simple pie dough and fill it with Nutella. Simple and delicious!



Nutella Heart Pies

  • Total Time: 30 min + 20 min cooling + 20 min baking
  • Yield: 12 pieces 1x




  • 3 dl all-purpose flour (1 ¼ cup)
  • 1/2 dl icing sugar (3 tbsp + 1 tsp)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 100 g butter (3.5 oz)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tbsp cold water (¼ cup + 3 tbsp)


  • 1 dl Nutella


  • 1 egg


Mix the flour, icing sugar and salt. Add the butter, working it in until the mixture is evenly crumbly. Add the egg and the water. Let the dough sit in the fridge for 20 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees celsius. Roll the dough into a thin sheet on a floured work surface. Use a heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes. Use a smaller heart-shaped cutter to cut out the shape for the covering peaces of the pies.

Transfer the dough shapes on a lined baking tray. Brush the edges with some egg. Fill the pies with Nutella and shape the edges with a fork. Brush the pies with some egg. Bake in the middle of the oven for about 20 minutes.
