Easy mud cake recipe

Ingredients

  • 200 g butter (7 oz)
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 dl granulated sugar (1 ½ cup + 3 tbsp)
  • 4 dl all-purpose flour (1 ½ cup + 3 tbsp)
  • 1 1/2 dl cocoa powder (1/2 cup + 2 tbsp)
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius (392 °F). Butter and line a 24 cm size springform pan with baking paper.
  2. Melt the butter. Mix the eggs and sugar in a bowl whisking lightly. Add melted butter.
  3. Mix all the dry ingredients and add them to the dough through a sieve.
  4. Pour the mix into the pan and bake in the middle of the oven for 20-25 minutes.
  5. Serve with ice cream.
