It is super easy to fill meringues with chocolate! Just place the chocolate pieces on the baking paper and pipe the meringue on the chocolate! These Ghost Meringues are perfect sweets for Halloween parties.
HALLOWEEN GHOST MERINGUES
100 g milk chocolate
3 egg whites
2 1/4 dl caster sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat the oven to 90 degrees celsius. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place chocolate pieces on the paper.
Whip the egg whites and add the caster sugar a little at a time constantly whisking. Whisk until the meringue is thick and glossy. Trasfer the meringue into a piping bag with a round nozzle. Pipe meringues on the chocolate.
Bake the meringues in the middle of the oven for about an hour. Turn the oven off and let the meringues dry in the oven.
Melt some chocolate to make the eyes for the ghosts.
Note: You can also use a star nozzle for piping the meringues.
Just easily pipe the meringue on the chocolate.
