PrintEasy Doughnut Holes
- Total Time: 15 min + 15 min frying
- Yield: 40 pieces mini-sized 1x
- Method: Mix & Bake
Ingredients
- 4 dl all-purpose flour (1 1/2 cup + 3 tbsp)
- 1 dl granulated sugar (¼ cup + 3 tbsp)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom
- 1⁄2 tsp salt
- 50 g butter (1.75 oz)
- 1 dl milk (¼ cup + 3 tbsp)
- 1 egg
vegetable oil for frying
granulated sugar
Instructions
Mix all the dry ingredients. Melt the butter and add the milk and the egg. Add the dry ingredients through a sieve.
Heat the oil into 180 degrees celsius (356 °F). The temperature is right when a small drop of dough fries in a couple of minutes.
Use two teaspoons to drop the dough balls into the oil. Fry for 2 minutes.
Lift the doughnuts on paper. Roll the warm doughnuts in sugar.
Notes
You can make bigger doughnuts by using two tablespoons to form the dough balls. You’ll get about 20 regular-sized doughnuts (scale 1x).
